It's easy to use, inexpensive, and actually a fun way to make espresso. Basically, it makes a concentrated coffee comparable to espresso in strength, so you can add milk to it for your latte. There is room in the market for all kinds of preferences and tastes and machines and methods. Starbucks has already choses it's brewing methods for it's stores. This is the same unit that is used in Loews Hotels. The only drawback to this cheaper unit is that it only holds one cup of water at a time. I use mine at the office twice a day.
